Nobody should have to miss an important lecture, experiment or meeting because of their period! That's why my colleagues, Loraine Busetto, Arne Auste, and I are excited to announce the launch of a pilot project aimed at providing free period products in the common toilets at our workplace.Our goal is simple: to ensure that everyone, whether they're a co-worker, student, or visitor, has easy access to tampons and pads, even if they've forgotten them at home, unexpectedly started their period, or are currently facing financial constraints that make purchasing period products difficult.Over the next two months, we'll be closely monitoring the demand for these products. Based on the data we collect, we'll then prepare a proposal or application with calculated demand to seek funding for a more permanent solution.We strongly encourage everyone to join our initiative and consider starting their own pilot project at their workplaces.
