Description:We are Lockheed Martin

• Works independently or with a team to execute project, schedule, and technical requirements to meet the goals of the test program.
• Responsible for specification, selection, design, integration, operation and maintenance of airborne data acquisition systems, and their related components. This includes telemetry, flight test specific hardware, or prototypes for flight test evaluation.
• Oversee installation, checkout, and calibration of data systems, to ensure collected data can be properly displayed, processed, and analyzed.
• Maintain configuration control, and mission capability of the instrumentation system as well as all associated ground support equipment.
• Support preflight, post-flight, and control room activities for all scheduled mission.
• Interface with test ops, maintenance, and management to ensure all instrumentation requirements are coordinated and accounted for.
• Support occasional travel.

A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Science degrees or equivalent experience.
• Technical background in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Aircraft systems operations experience.
• Active Secret Clearance

• Previous experience with Curtis Wright, Safran, or similar instrumentation hardware
• Signal conditioning, transducers, and data acquisition
• Analog & digital circuit design and analysis
• Electrical design
• Mechanical design
• Flight test instrumentation operations
• IRIG 106 Telemetry Standards
• Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, function generation, network analyzer, and multi-meter use

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $67,400 - $129,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,600 - $146,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
