Top Fantasy Football Week 2 Tight End Streamers
If you decided to wait until the end of your draft to take a tight end, you would likely want to listen up.
It's important to get production out of the tight end spot because half of your league consistently puts up inconsistent numbers at that position. If you can get solid numbers every week at tight end, you will have an advantage going into every single week.
We learned a lot in Week 1 about some of these tight ends. Therefore, we've put together our top streamers for the tight end spot going into Week 2.

Here's a look at tight ends who could put together good enough weeks at the tight end spot in Week 2.

Tight Ends Streamers for Shallow Leagues
- Tyler Higbee, TE, Chargers vs. Falcons
I don't think Tyler Higbee's production and target share will increase. But if Matthew Stafford never connects with Austin Robinson, there's a chance that Higbee can shine in this Rams offense.
Higbee caught five passes for 39 yards, had 11 targets, and played 94% of the snaps. Granted, the Rams were down throughout the entire game. But he was targeted 11 times. That's an absurd number for a tight end on the waiver wire.
It's worth trying with Higbee. Again, if Stafford never figures it out with Allen Robinson, Higbee can be in for a big season.
- Gerald Everett, TE, Chargers vs. Chiefs
Gerald Everett has three catches on four targets against the Raiders in Week 1. He finished with 54 yards receiving and also had a touchdown. Heading into Week 2, the Chargers will take on the Chiefs without Keenan Allen. Allen is usually targeted at least ten times by Herbert. So if you take his targets away, there's more to go around for players like Everett. Plus, the Chiefs and Chargers figure to play a high-scoring game with plenty of touchdowns and yards gained. Everett is a solid tight end for this week.

- Robert Tonyan, TE, Packers vs. Bears
Tonyan took the field for the first time since mid-season in 2021. He only played 22 snaps in Week 1, but that's due to precautionary reasons.
Eventually, Tonyan will be the "guy" in Green Bay. And they need someone to step up because their rookie receivers struggle to get comfortable early on. To think Tonyan had four targets and three catches while only playing 36% of the snaps is incredible.
As his workload increases, Tonyan will be able to do some big things for Green Bay. This man scored 11 touchdowns in 2020. He will be a problem with the Packers now that he's healthy. The breakout could begin against the Bears in a rivalry game.
Tight Ends Streamers for Deep Leagues
- Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Broncos vs. Texans
Okwuegbunam played 67 percent of snaps for the Broncos and was targeted six times. He hauled in five passes and was inches away from having one of his catches be a touchdown.
He only gained 6.6 yards per catch, but in PPR leagues, it seems Okwuegbunam could be a solid target on waivers knowing that Wilson threw 40 times last week in Denver's loss. He's still the number one tight end on the depth chart.
- Hayden Hurst, TE, Bengals vs. Cowboys
The Cowboys got a ton of stops around the red zone last week. But ultimately, the Cowboys still weren't that great defensively.
Joe Burrow had the worst game of his career against the Steelers and will want to put all of that behind him. Expect a more efficient game out of Burrow against Dallas.
It's unclear whether or not Tee Higgins will be available for the Bengals this week. That could open up more targets for Hayden Hurst, who had five catches on eight targets. He also gained 46 yards and had 9.2 yards per catch.
Burrow helped C.J. Uzomah parlay his season last year with a new contract in New York. Hurst was a top-10 tight end two years ago. He's got it in him, and the targets were there from Burrow in Week 1. He's someone to consider.
- Logan Thomas, TE, Commanders vs. Lions
Thomas only caught three passes for 45 yards in Week 1, but he was targeted six times and played 62% of snaps for the Commanders in Week 1. He averaged 15 yards per catch, proving he can make plays down the field as a pass catcher for the Commanders. He will have to work for targets going up against teammates Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson, Antonio Gibson, and Curtis Samuel, but he can still be an asset in the passing game. No other tight end got more than one target on the team. It's worth giving Thomas a look.
