“Neeksssss” the dark haired, blue eyed male draws out. He was laying across Nico’s lap his hand reaching up to pinch Nico’s cheeks. They had fixed their relationship after the prophecy was fulfilled. They had a strong brotherly bond, that took months of them telling Escher things they thought they would never share. They even had rare times where they would hang out just the two of them. Which led them to now.It had been a nice afternoon and Chiron said that Dionysus or him had not plans to make it rain so it was a great after noon to have a relaxing day.due to this, they decided to go out and have a great time. So they both had a great after noon of swimming, (Nico was very against it) eating sandwiches, and sky gazing. As they were sky gazing there was change in the sky. Suddenly, as quick as Hermes, the sky grew dark and rain clouds filled the sky. The sounds of rain pattering against the ground while the first sign of lightning showed.
Both of the Blacked haired males were already on their feet with their weapons in their hands as the second sign of thunder showed. They both ran toward the center of camp, but as they ran toward the dining area, they noticed all the campers running away. They got more confused as they saw the bravest of soldiers, even Clarisse. Running away.
“NICO go to the center, I’ll go make sure they’re safe” Percy yelled, the sound of the rain, wind, and thunder nearly making it impossible to hear. Nico gave a silent nod as they split up, Nico continuing
straightforward while Percy turned around.
Finally reaching the center Nico realized why every one was running. A the center laid a wide circle of rainbow colors giving off waves of godly power. The energy coming off the circle almost made him try to tear his skin off. As he got nearer he felt like his skin was melting off. Right when he was about to run back, he felt a pair of hands grab his own and drag him back.
Suddenly there was silence. The thunder and rain stopping. The godly power suddenly weakened as the rainbow disappeared.
“-at we’re you thinking?!?” Suddenly Nico got back into his head as he saw Chiron yelling to a blonde male. He was leaned against a pillar with Will in front of him making him eat small pieces of Nectar.
“-co Nico are you okay?” Will’s voice came through his head. Moving his head a bit, he responded with” Y-Yeah, just give me minute”
With Will’s help he stood up and slowly walked toward Chiron, where he was giving him the speech of a lifetime.
“You could have killed one of the children!” Chiron Yelled before taking a deal breath. It was honestly kinda weird, Chiron rarely ever yelled about anything. So hearing him yell felt oddly… different.
“Forgive me, Kronoson. I did not mean any harm. I do however, need a favor” The male person responded, his voice sounding apologetic at the start.
The two had a near silent conversation. After what felt like hours, Chiron turned around and with a loud voice he yelled,” Clarisse La Rue, Percy Jackson, and Nico Di Angelo please come forward”
The three walked forward stepping in front of the blonde male and Chiron. As they stood there Chiron began to inform them of the situation.
“Thor is issuing a quest, Here are three of the best warriors at Camp Half Blood, you may choose one to accompany you”
Before the this male said to be Thor even spoke a word, Percy spoke up,” Actually… I don’t know want to go on a quest so.. no thank you” He quickly stepped back and went into the crowed.
Nico sighed mentally, it was just so Percy to walk away from a quest. He looked side ways at Clarisse with a small part of him hoping she gets picked.
As Thor walked near him he put his hand on Nico’s shoulder squeezing his it before patting him on the back.
“This one, He showed bravery and he will be a good soldier” Thor said.
Nico wanted to sink into the floor after hearing that. Really, just because he did not run he was chosen. And really this guy or god better get his hand off him.
Nico’s thought were cut off by Thor wrapping his arm around him and spinning a hammer, before they shot up into the sky.
Nico felt his soul leave his body. He didn’t even have time to scream, his facial expression was enough to show his horror of the situation.
He didn’t even get to pack, why the hell was he leaving? What about his two companions? What about-
Out of no where, he suddenly felt like a fog came over his mind. He felt dizzy. Why did it hurt to-
His last thought was that of ‘oh sh*t’ as he realized the air was too thin for him
As they arrived, Nico was still passed out, rather than him hugging Thor to stay with him, Thor switched the position to where he held him as a child. (Bridal, this is platonic)
As they entered the building Nico began to wake up, and by the time they got all the way to the lounge Nico had woken up and began to walk along side Thor.(he was completely embarrassed at first)
“So what am I doing on this quest?” Nico questioned, as the Tv paused. Quickly noticing the eyes on him, he shut his mouth and paused his walking.
The people in the room was an odd bunch. One of them was wearing a tight black suit with bright red hair, another male with liquor was wearing a muscle tea shirt with a glowing orb in the center of his chest, on the floor a good looking man with medium length hair in a dark green armor accented with gold.
But the one that surprised him the most was the male in sweats on the far left, he looked like a super model but that’s not why he caught his attention.
“You are you, A-are you that guy..ummm. What’s his name… Captain America?” Nico found his voice action. He was pointing at the man in sweats in the left with brown hair.
“Yeah, that’s me” Captain America replied.
Nico’s mouth open and closed before it stayed closed. He turned his attention to the other people in the room.
“Uh Hi I’m Nico” he said addressing the whole room. Noticing the stares he added,” and you are?”
Little did he know that question would start a whole lot of chaos.
